Our farm : La ferme de l’adroit in Val d’Isère
With our flock of 30 milk cows, mainly composed of sublime « brunes des alpes » (grey cows), we stay inside on winter time and roam the fields around Val d’Isere in summer. Open house to see our animals all day long. Each evening at 5.30p.m come to see how we milk the cows in barn in winter or in the fields on summer.
Our Dairy : We transform 100% of our milk all the year into cheeses (avalin, raclette, tomme, bleu…) or into fresh produce (cottage cheese, coulis, yogurts, cream, dulce de leche…)
Direct selling in the farm : You have particulary enjoyed the dishes in our restaurant and you want to extend the pleasure of cheese at home ? Or you just want to discover the specialities and traditions of the region ? Welcome to our shops : one directly at the farm or in the center of Val d’Isère our second shop : “la Fermette de Claudine” (next to the post office).
You are looking for calm holidays with your family or between friends ? Our farm suggest you 4 furnished apartments from 47 to 70m² (from 2 to 9 people). Enjoy the splendid mountain view, farm life and winter sports. Our apartments are located at 200m from the bus station (free shuttles), a 7 min walk to the center of Val d’Isere and 300m from the first ski lift : Laisinant chairlift !
L'Etable d'Alain : restaurant of our farm
Each winter, we have the pleasure to open our restaurant « l’Etable d’Alain », which was our former barn renovated in 2002, to serve you delicious and authentic dishes (fondue, raclette, tartiflette, diots…). Just one word in our kitchen : Homemade ! All the cheeses, yogurts, cottage cheese come from the milk of our cows and meats from our pigs. You will enjoy tasty traditional Savoyard dishes with the cows that you can see directly in the Windows.
